Half way through watching Grisse

fucking superb, best western tv series since Deadwood.

Yes, its set in Indonesia, a tale of locals (a rag tag mix of indonesians, chinese, japanese, fekin samurais and god knows what else) fighting the Dutch (who on the whole are totally insane).

Reminds me so much of Deadwood. Loads of violence, a ridiculous amount of death, and some great fight scenes that pay homage to not only western bar fights but ninja movies.

if you can find it (might be tricky, its on HBO Asia) watch it.

Finished watching Grisse last night.

Without spoilers, totally brutal, loads of really over the top violence, samurai's, western style brawls, kung fu, and some really fucked up dutch people on heroin. never thought id see a show where a brothel owner would shit in her own hand and throw it at a rival, or someone would be beaten up with a huge wooden dildo

for me, the best western since deadwood, by some margin. superb tv. and looks like there might be a season 2

Just watched Titans (angry brooding teen titans). Not great. I wasn't hoping for a CW version..... but why they insist on taking all the fun and humour out of their characters for TV and movies is beyond me.

Looking forward to watching this tonight being a day behind on Hulu. Loved the books, so really interested in what they do with the TV series.
How many books are there. I have not read them and just happened to come across the tv show by accident.

There are 3 books with everything getting wrapped up, so there should be a definitive series finale. I'm hoping for 5'ish seasons to do the story justice since the trilogy spans 1000 years. The trailers don't give a ton of information other than; girl on the run, strange powers, vampires, virus pandemic.

I've been binge-watching Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia since I missed the last few seasons.

Haven't laughed this hard in years. I missed this show.

future man and angie tribeca are back
i am lovin it

Haven't watched an episode of Tribeca but I'm completely sold just based on one gag from a tv spot for the second season: I guess Angie is in some sort of Silence of the Lambs type situation where she has to get into the mind of the killer. And one of the cops goes, "we think you're getting too close to him," and she denies it and then gets a phone call from him and answers in like a full on happy almost smitten voice, "Oh hey!"

i cant wait for this really enjoyed season 1 this looks like this season might be more over the top

It's still pretty decent and not bad at all. For some reason I kinda hoped Crawford would be replaced by James Roday (that guy from Psych)
Stifler's doing a good job. Just hope it doesn't get cancelled as I really enjoy it, having initially thought they were insane to even attempt a network show based on the films. Wayans may actually be staying now they've changed shit about behind the scenes to accommodate him.

Just read that taboo season 2 probably won't start filming until late 2019 or early 2020. What the fuck, 3 years after season one.

I guess this is what happens when you cast a A list actor in the lead role of a tv series.

Really enjoyed season 1 so can't wait for season 2

Anyone seen Black Monday?
That was some refreshing shit
