I like the carnage paint! I loved the first dollop of paint on a screwdriver too. And in my hair. Battle scars.I recycle/reuse/renew all kinds of stuff. Sometimes people give me shit for saving this or that bit of "junk," but I've used that stuff to fix hundreds of other things.
Suggestion: Keep a few cardboard boxes before they go to recycling and throw those down next time you paint, then you won't have to clean up the garage floor.
Can she and I be friends? My mom loves doing this. She was just given an antique China cabinet from my grandpa, and she made it her own. She's been doing that kind of thing for years now.

Judging by your own work in the OP, most likely. We spent time living in England when I was young, also, so you'd have some things to talk aboutCan she and I be friends?
Her vision is flippin immense, it's beautiful.Judging by your own work in the OP, most likely. We spent time living in England when I was young, also, so you'd have some things to talk about
I've told her plenty of times that she could use her talent as a way to make money, but she's content to just do it for herself, and mostly cares about fixing up her garden (which is also very nice). When I saw the OP, I immediately thought of her, you've got a nice talent for it. There are plenty of people who want things fixed up nicely, but who don't have that kind of know how, or who just don't want to do it themselves. Something to consider. That's nice work. If you ever find that hutch/armoire, I'd love to see it.Her vision is flippin immense, it's beautiful.
I had designs on making a coffee bar out of a hutch/armoire to the point of a local thrift warehouse keeping an eye out for me and going to estate sales with a tape measure but none of them quite worked out so I gave up.
She's hardcore, that isn't a paint job, that's completely turning it on its head. If she doesn't already, she'd love Flea Market Flip. I just let her know someone appreciates her work, and that she has a friend she doesn't even know. She's hardcore, that isn't a paint job, that's completely turning it on its head. If she doesn't already, she'd love Flea Market Flip. I've watched all of them.
Husband nearly shrieked when I wanted to take a saw to one of the armoires so it would fit the coffee machine properly so all I've really done is paint and swap out hardware. I have a gigantic 6 drawer chest which I bought these for and intend doing in the same Wedgewood and brass colours which will be fun, it's just a drama moving it into the garage. But it was free. It came up on a local Facebook group and I sent husband out to get it. I was on first name terms with Benjamin Moore in Norfolk I was in there so often. There's another set I bought but it won't let me upload for some reason.
trash goes in the trash and stays in the trash don't be Povo.About 7 years ago I bought these on Nextdoor for $5, they sat in storage for 7 years.
Do you upcycle? It's been a bit of a pastime for a few years.
There are a ton of restorative gunks to return it to its previous glory stripping off any paintwork revisions. Something that old needs a restore rather than a revamp.I just let her know someone appreciates her work, and that she has a friend she doesn't even know.
I have a jewelry chest/stand thing that my dad's mom left me when she passed, was built in the 1800's by my either great great, or great great great uncle. It's still all original, has never been worked on, though was painted at a point. Relative to its age it is in great shape, but relative to what you'd want sitting around in your house it isn't. I mentioned to my dad that my mom could restore it, and a year and a half later he's still reluctant to let me actually have it (they've been divorced for decades). If you ever have plans to come around my way, you and my mom might have a good time fixing it up. I've seen enough to believe it would turn out looking nice
Did you have a stroke?trash goes in the trash and stays in the trash don't be Povo.
Have you ever restored stuff? Maybe that's the next step? I wouldn't trust myself to do it, though I know my mom could, if she'd be willing to put in the time. It's kinda 50/50, she'd maybe not be willing to do it bc it isn't hers. I'd pay her, but for that kind of project she'd probably want it in her home so she could admire it everyday, and that wouldn't happen lolThere are a ton of restorative gunks to return it to its previous glory stripping off any paintwork revisions. I’m the same. I haven’t put the effort your mum has but it’s a love thing for me. I have the iPad playing music if I’m in the garage painting. I couldn’t imagine parting ways with something I’ve put my heart into. So no, I talk a good restorative game because I’m a wannabe YouTube viewer of how to do it and which brands/tools todo it with.Have you ever restored stuff? Maybe that's the next step? No, he's just retarded.Did you have a stroke?
All I can find of “povo” is a Portuguese word for “people”.No, he's just retarded.
