Ahmet Davutoğlu:
"Prime Minister said that in current conjuncture, this attack (on Suleiman Shah Tomb) must be seen as an opportunity for us."

Hakan Fidan:
"I'll send 4 men from Syria, if that's what it takes. I'll make up a cause of war by ordering a missile attack on Turkey; we can also prepare an attack on Suleiman Shah Tomb if necessary."

Feridun Sinirlioğlu:
"Our national security has become a common, cheap domestic policy outfit."

Well, we have a false flag right here in the planning stages. Was it Israel? Was it ze Jews?
Nope.
Jesus, even Turkey appears to be going off the deep end, now.

Does it also beg to ask the question about the chemical weapons attacks in Syria if Turkey has agents / or can put agents in Syria -- possibly doing things like that?

Good post. I almost feel like I'm becoming an Anarcho-Capitalist lately because of this consistent type of behavior and other flaws in governments. But I am starting to understand what the founding fathers of the U.S. meant when they said that revolutions should happen regularly. If you can't get rid of government entirely, regular "spring cleaning" may be a necessity.

Amazing how much those guys had it figured out. God they were gangster.

..and then they blocked all social networking sites.. why hasn't the US commented on Erdogan? The guy has essentially become a dictator. The US needs to check this douchebag before he starts some shit.

What does this thread have to do with Israel/Jews? Are you trying to start an argument about Israel/Jews in this thread?

You seem obsessed.

Hah! That's one I haven't heard yet.
The Gulen Movement (whose leader is in the US), Israel and Syria have all come up. Pretty embarrassing for Hakan Fidan, considering he's the head of Turkish intelligence.
Hard to believe Erdogan is managing to hold on to power.

I don't see how it could be Israel or the US, since both want Assad gone.

Sure, but this planned incursion was just about protecting the Tomb.
Considering the upcoming election, it all seems calculated to undermine Erdogan.
Gulen has taken refuge in the US, and if it isn't internal strife, I'm wondering who else would be trying to undermine Erdogan and have the ability to do so.

Israel and Turkey's relationship have really soured, since hardliners have taken power in both nations. Regardless of who wins in Syria, it will take decades to rebuild. Best to use this opportunity to chop down a bit at your rival, no?

The souring of the relationship I know, but with geopolitical interests they will put aside their differences and work with each other for their mutual benefit.

I agree, both have stuck-up nitwits as their current leaders.

Anarcho-capitalism is working great for Somalia.

Yep, the same way democracy working for Ukraine.

I know this may shock you, but I think Ukraine has a far better chance to stabilize than Somalia.
