Who would you take in these fights?

They would be good fights for him, after he beats Gunnar.

He obviously has the striking advantage by a big margin vs both of them, but they have the wrestling and grappling pressure that they can rely on. Tumenov was able to stifle Musoke's wrestling and didn't give Lapsley, Jouban and Larkin a chance to use their wrestling - although they don't have the highest pedigree/skills at it.

They would both be good tests and different styles for him to deal with. However, he is very good at setting a pace that he likes and is comfortable with, and at his pace, it is a bit better to deal with bigger wrestlers.

Fought a much bigger opponent who controlled Tumenov for the better part of 3 rounds.

tumenov went for the finish far to early and gassed him self out then the big guy took over

tumenov is going to have to prove himself vs some high level grapplers like gunnar, maia, story, kelvin and Hendricks. At elast 2 or 3 of them on his way to either Robbie or wonderboy as i dont see anyone else getting the belt unless they give condit another shot. I think Magny is going to win a huge fight next and be in line there somewhere as well. Tumenov will wreck most of these guys standing but can he defend the takedowns and will he get subbed by maia or gunnar once on the ground. This next fight is going to be super telling of his abilities.

Tumenov's been asking for fights with both thompson and story for a while. They should have given him a fight with story imo instead of gunnar, makes more sense in terms of both guy's position in the divison.

Strong post. Durable wrestlers with good cardio could pose problems with his style. Gunnar on paper isn't an easy fight for him. Excellent grappling with a good chin.
