Tuivasa Has Had Knockouts Like This Before

For those of you who still think Lewis just gave up or was exhausted, you need to understand how devastating this Tai Tuivasa elbow is. Take this example.

Very close to the same result. Sneaky elbow that puts his opponent out, and he slumps to the floor. Lewis did not see it coming, and he got put out. Pretty undeniable at this point.

It was pretty clear BB was out.
He was looking straight at Tuivasa, never saw the elbow coming!

Lewis obviously gave up and stopped himself from falling unconscious. If you knew anything about fighting you would intuitively know the elbow wasn't a KO blow.
Wow you really showing how low iq you is be. Did you watch the 2 strikes just before the elbow? The left hook sent BB stumbling, then Tai landign the big right that sent the BB falling into Tai (if Tai didn't catch the BB, he would have been face down on the ground), just before the elbow that sent him to the ground like a fell tree. BB went out on his shield and did not fake anything.

I think everyone knew this fight would end in a knock out. We all just thought it would be BB knocking out Tai. Being from Polynesia, I’m glad to see Tai get the win.

I knew it would 100% be BB getting the KO victory.

Just wasn't sure if it would be Bam Bam or Black Beast.

You should have had more faith in your kinsman! I had it as a toss up. With a suspicion lewis would not want to brawl with Tuivasa.

Anyone saying it's "fake" is a tinfoiler. Lewis' body collapsed and stopped responding, him putting half an arm out is whatever is left of his autonomous nervous system trying to protect his physical integrity. He was fucked up, people fall in all sorts of crazy ways. There was nothing unusual about it. It's also clear that he was hellbowed hard as fuck. Can't believe people are delusional enough to bring this up lol.

Like he slumped over, his arms went limp, and he crumpled to the floor. So what, because he fell on his knee and arm, that means he wasn't out? Did they expect him to flail around like a chicken?

The fall looks funny/weird cause he landed on his knee first but it’s entirely possible to fall like that naturally. Getting elbowed liked that on that spot usually means lights out. Rountree was done as soon as that elbow hit ….. even before he landed. Follow up shots weren’t necessary.

I didn't see any complaints, but I've been off of Sherdog since last night. Are there people who really think Tai didn't knock him out or something?

Both times he doesn't throw follow ups. He knows they're out, he's one of the two people who feel the impact of those elbows.

He was also nice enough to not follow up. Nice KO.
Ah, regarding the topic, I find it totally unreasonable to think Lewis somehow gave up, that was not only the elbow, iirc he also took 2-3 punches on the chin.

I guess Chad Mendez also gave up when decision machine Frankie Edgard punched him in the tip of the nose?

I believe Lewis mentally folded before the elbow but I refuse to believe he folded that hard that he faked being kod.
Why would you think that? He was winning the fight and doing really well till he got clipped. Him being hurt set up that sequence. But him doing poorly in that fight was pretty brief.

Yes, at least more than a few in the PBP thread, I think.
