Economy TSMC Arizona Has Been Activated (Capex Now Up To $165 Billion)

Its not one or the other.

Letting Russia get away with Ukraine would lead to China attempting to do the same with Taiwan, i mean who would risk WW3 over a tiny island in the pacific?

Also to contain China you need the help of Europe and if Trump takes the side of Russia over the EU then well, expect the EU to don't give much of a fuck about US attempts to contain China.
Taking Taiwan would mean we would have to commit direct action against China. Ukraine is meaningless to the US.

Europe is also reliant upon Taiwan.

It's really doubtful to see anyone seizing fabs intact from any country. They are some of the most vulnerable physical assets in the world.
I doubt China bombs these factories and if the Taiwanese destroy them they can still loot the human assets, that being said i would presume that most of them would flee if invasion is imminent.

China would still supply Europe with whatever they can loot out of Taiwan.
The world would be made hostage to China. Do you fail to see this? Islam loves liking these posts.

Yeah, Taiwan isn't Jamaica. Its an 800 billion dollar GDP and the largest producer of semi conductor chips.

I don't fail to see this, but Europe is going to be too busy dealing with the Russian rogue State to help.
The same Russia that has been in a stalemate with the failed state of Ukraine. Sure sure. Russia is SUPER scary.

If Russia gets to take over Ukraine they can use its population and resources to lick their wounds and start over, especially if Trump releases its reserves.

I meant Taiwan or really any one else who owns a fab. They aren't built hardened and can't easily be hardened. We aren't talking a facility that can be buried under ground or rebuilt without spending years. The human capital is part of it but not the main problem.
