Well, this is something of a head-scratcher.


On Tuesday evening (Jan. 28), President Donald Trump announced that he has another task for SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk, who is already leading a cost- and regulation-cutting effort called the Department of Governmental Efficiency.

All of those are direct ways to put money in someone pocket without any intermediate step and thus why Trump and his family have launched all of them, recently.

Trump 1.0 saw his hotel as the main way to bribe him. Book dozens of rooms, at the top rate, whether you use them or not (better not to use them and save him clean up costs) just before a meeting with Trump. But still this money goes thru a corporate structure with all the costs and taxes before ending up in Trumps pocket.

Trump 2.0 saw the benefit of the Truth Social public stock, which was lining up to be the best way to bribe him in the same way his hotel rooms were. Buy a bunch before any agenda meeting with him. BUt it also had some potential for those groups to have leverage on Trump, as they could threaten to dump it and tank the low volume stock. And again the value Trump gets has to go thru Capital gains and other issues for him to claim it.

Enter Trump 3.0. Cryto/Meme Coins/NFT's. No middle man. Just money directly into Trumps (family) bank account for things of zero value.

it is the perfect graft for those who want to bribe Trump (family) directly.

X is certainly not doing as well as it once was, but I think that is mostly due to advertising right? Large companies who pay for it are definitely more left leaning and have concerns about the free speech they are seeing on there (and.. rightly so in some regards.. Generally speaking there was centrist platform that allowed everyone (Twitter, Facebook, ertc) but you could get kicked for defying their rules and then there were far right platforms, where you also could get kicked for defying their rules.

I'd imagine the expenses would have to be way up launching a streaming service and fintech wings, but can only speculate until they put out the numbers. We will have to see if Truth Social keeps up with SEC required filings or if they just stop doing it (or start lying) knowing a Trump SEC will not enforce against them.

so the boys at DJT did it again, rolling out earnings after hours on a Friday. Last time they released them on election day.

Do you see the pattern here, they are trying to hide their explosive growth from small time investors and want only the big boys to profit from this so each and everyone that loves DJT the man should immediately plow whatever you own in to this beauty.

Revenues appear to be declining but interest income on the billions they've been given is nearly 12 million, which should keep them afloat. During this period the man won and became POTUS which you would think might give advertising revenue a boost but apparently not. Traditionally the time of the most kumbayah feelings for a president is early in their terms, then the tide seems to go out, so I'm kinda guessing this is the high water mark for DJT but I could be wrong.

During this time they also gave away something like 107 million in stock to insiders like Kash (ironic name alert) and Mrs. McMahon. See @HOLA 's thread about it or you know just Bing It.

Here are a few simple rules of thumb I try to use in my investing strategies-

1- don't buy companies with declining revenues
2- Don't buy companies that try to hide earnings and key metrics like user #'s from me
3- Don't buy companies with leadership that has failed repeatedly in the past
4- Don't buy a company that dilutes me needlessly while rewarding existing billionaires and cronies
5- don't buy companies that are reliant on the health of an obese, stressed, 80 year old with Iranian and American assassins seemingly intent on killing him

Counter arguments- They are going to be successful in making a profitable streaming service and they are going into crypto/fintech tied to Charles Schwab which may allow them to monetize and profit off the 777 million they have on the balance sheet. Donald Trump's presidency will bring about unheard of economic growth which will make this platform more popular for advertisers as we all grow to love him. He will use his power as POTUS to create wealth for himself through this platform. Foreign countries need a way to bribe him legally and his meme coin ain't as likely to retain value as this one.

This truly is a fascinating stock and if any of you have a position in it, long or short, I wish you success personally but hope this thing craters like the biggest crater making crater ever to crater....
