Donald Trump is slandered more than anyone I can recall, but if these claims of him being a monster, a racist, an asshole were true, that would make him the first guy in history to be a dick whose kids still love and respect him. You can usually judge a guy by his kids and I don't think any of his 5 kids have been arrested or speak badly him. I might be wrong, but it would probably be front page news if they did. His daughter is one of the hottest women I've ever seen, yet is still an intelligent business woman. Is there anybody regarded as an asshole who went 5 for 5 on raising really good kids?

I've thought this too. I know on The Apprentice they actually carried themselves well and seemed to respect him. I do think this is telling. Good observation TS!

I'm pretty sure people don't like Trump based on what he has said. The counter-argument of "but his kids haven't come out and said anything bad" is incredibly stupid. I'm sure you won't understand why.

I don't really keep up with "celebrities", but I know the 1 Hilton is a model and the other is/was a reality tv star.

My question however was don't all the kids work for Trump - btw, I just googled and 1 doesn't. The daughter he had with Marla Maples and of course the 9yr old.

Off the top of my head I'd say most rich business people have kids that have never been in trouble with the law and work for dad. I'd also say his son is as delusional as Donald if he truly believes waterboarding isn't a big deal because "frat boys are waterboarded every day at college."

Jr. and Ivanka both seem pretty cool, and not at all like their father. On t.v. they are robot stiffs, but in laid back interviews they are quite normal. Not sure how that came about or how true that really is, but maybe despite being an ego freak, he managed to be a loving father.

How much time do you think Donald spent with his kids, raising them himself? From what I've seen, these kids of wealthy and busy people probably spend more time with nannies and tutors and shit. I'll defend him here. I don't think he is evil or racist or a bad guy. I agree, his kids have made something of themselves and all seem to be doing wonderful things in the world and for it.

I think Trump is just misguided and pandering. The guy has essentially been a life long Democrat, who is liberal on social issues. Shame he couldn't stick to a Rockefeller Republican strategy. But hey I suppose he had to adapt.
