International Trump: US control of Greenland is absolute nescessity

My favorite thing about when Trump says something so moronic and assine, is how the dumbest people on the forum like @cottagecheesefan try to man-splain it like it's 4d chess using straight plagiarized talking points from social media.

Its like the kid in the LD class lecturing the entire gifted advanced honors class on the benefits of eating paste and huffing paint.

Draft dodger is truly retarded and so are his hardcore magat loyalists. High cholesterol, low IQ fan base. Certainly a mental illness.

Cottage deepthroats libsoftiktok, he is definitely a vulnerable adult and his group home staff should not allow him to post so damn much.

So now BBC reports denmark is spending defence spending in greenland, nothing too serious though.

I find it weird they put money on defence since zero chance denmark holding greenland militarily if trump goes madman.

Should invest in people and society there if above mentioned stats are true about quality of life

“For purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World, the United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump, who takes office on 20 January, did not elaborate on the statement.

People forgot he's literally retarded and voted for the dumbest person they remember from highschool again.

I think there's a significant chance he wants Greenland so bad just cause it looks big on a Mercator projection.

There isn't a single cockamamie scheme Trump can come up with that you won't find some silver lining to is there?
Actually I'll cover the silver lining on this one.

All jokes aside, Greenland will become dramatically more valuable in the next few centuries if climate change trends keep going and the polar ice caps melt.

There's going to be a gold rush of fossil fuels drilling and mineral extraction in the arctic circle as the ice melts.

Not to mention the shipping lanes and new arctic ports.

In 300 years people might look back at it like the Louisiana purchase.

But I doubt Trump is thinking that far ahead.

Even in light of all that, the rational thing to do would be to strengthen relations with Denmark rather than antagonizing them.

You're looking at this all wrong.

Any time Trump comes up with a crazy idea to damage US relations with European allies you have to ask "what would Putin do?"

And Putin would totally want to damage relationships between the US and EU whenever possible.

Remember when Trump pulled US troops out of Germany when neither the German government nor the US military wanted them removed?

Makes no sense right?

But if you ask "what would Putin do?", Putin would totally move US troops out of Germany.

Per capita GDP in Greenland is $37000. Alcoholism and abuse, including incest, run rampant through it's isolated communities. They rank 149th in life expectancy with a declining birth rate.

Maybe the status quo is not working so well for them.
It will be Florida 2.

It’s not irrational to make a very large offer to purchase the whole thing. We’ve spent 2 trillion on the F35. 100-200 billion for Greenland would be a great deal for all parties. We’ve tried twice in the past. It’s not unheard of.

If they don’t accept, we should try and buy as much land there as possible in conjunction with Denmark and Greenland.

I mean, if we play that game I’ve been told that every dollar we spend in Ukraine is a tremendous benefit to the united States because it’s bleeding out Russia.
You're forgetting the main point that it's without US military presence. Although as unlikely as the idea is, if we somehow annexed Greenland, Russia would be foolish to confront us militarily over it.

Of course they would.

It’s a very strategic area of the world.

Keep in mind that Russian subs and naval assets were off the FL coast just half a year ago. Chart a path of there those bad boys likely went through and Greenland, Iceland, Denmark corridor. Or what, did they go through the Panama Canal? Lol

Isn’t Russia and their buddy China a threat to global democracy? Why is it we HAVE to fight them and support Ukraine, but allow them to sleep on influence all around Latin America and elsewhere. It only strengthens Russia by their clear relationship.

it is actually much more critical to stop these kind of advances, rather than a few miles of border in Ukraine.
LOL USA is historically a much greater threat to democracy in Latin America.

China is welcome in Panama, they pay the fees to use the Panama Canal. You need to shut the fuck up and do the same or Panama might invite China to put some military bases there to protect them from you.
