I know that Yuri was referring to “leftists”—my point is that some of the things he warned about are not sole property of the left. And Trump is not doing what Yuri suggested, he’s doing what Yuri warned about: distorting facts, obscuring the truth, and leading a bunch of minions who can’t br persuaded no matter what. Let me give you some examples about me:
-Recently I debated about Tulsi Gabbard, whom I dislike. I made several points about things she’s said and done. The poster I debated with pointed out that I’d taken a quote out of context (I didn’t do it on purpose, I either forgot or never knew the full context). The supplied the context, I fact-checked it, and they were right. I acknowledged this and dropped that point from my list of complaints.
-I have condemned violence and rioting that’s occurring.
-I criticized Hillary’s dumbass comments yesterday about ACB and Originalism, because they are factually wrong and not helpful.

I know you want to believe that “the left” is some monolith, and we’re all the same, a bunch of “Marxist-socialist-SJW-buzzword-buzzword” people, but actually I can be flexible. My mind can be changed. I will acknowledge facts. I can be persuaded by a good argument.

it's such intellectual laziness that it's hard to argue with them. I mean, I'm ok with talking to someone with a stunted development as long as they are knowledgeable of their own limitations and willing to exchange while offering their core beliefs, even if they may be wrong. But to try and silence me by calling me a communist is just being lazy and unwilling to actually discuss anything. He clearly doesn't know what communism is, and neither does Trump because he uses it all the time. Apparently if Biden is elected the economy will be worse than Venezuela's lol. I mean, really????
