I didn't watch either town hall. I set my TV to record the President Trump talk but for what ever reason it didn't record, though my TV says it did record oddly.

My expectations were that the President Trump town hall would be tough and likely unfair. Many are reporting that is what happened.

My expectations for Biden's talk on ABC was that it would basically be an infomercial for the Biden campaign. From what I've read that appears to have been what happened.

Of the two talks that happened I can imagine the President Trump talk was much more watched and popular.

Did see Biden's comments that he would pack the Supreme court seems to be the headline from his friendly chat with ABC.

To be fair, they feel endeared to Trump because he’s very relatable.
Trump doesn’t use big words. He speaks plain and unpretentious English. He also tells it like it is and doesn’t censor himself. He’s also a billionaire, lives a life of luxury, has a super model wife... he’s just a regular guy, just like them and they find that refreshing and relatable

I have news for you, he’s not a regular guy. Not only would he refuse to have a beer with you (not a personal attack on you, same applies to me) he wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. He would have you escorted out if you walked on to one of his country club properties.

What is true is he’s a crazy moron like a lot of the country. They can relate to the shit talking, the conspiracy theories, the meanness, etc.. The idea that he’s a normal, relatable guy is ridiculous.

And before you react keep in mind I don’t think it’s important for presidents. They have to show empathy and compassion for those they serve (two things he’s not capable of, another reason he’s far from normal) but personally I think presidents should be elites. They should posses exceptional intelligence, are well educated and well read and are thinkers. I don’t care if we can drink a beer with them. But we need to stop saying Trump is normal because he isn’t.
