Mostly a bunch of corrupt backward brigands who have made their home countries unlivable now looking for a new place to enrich with their backward "culture".

The cause is actually irrelevant, the only thing that matters is what the citizens of a country want or don't want, and if they don't want a bunch of Islamic barbarians ruining their society, then that should be the end of it.
