Christie on the political spectrum would meet moderate standards. Problem is his popularity is low and his temperment matches Trump. He also doesn't help Trumps weakness in foreign policy cred

Gingrich is an opportunist. He is just going with where the political wind blows. That's the only way you could go from his speakership to what he ran on in 2012 with the tea party to 2016 supporting trump the most out of the field of politicians. I liked him in the past cause I don't think he lets a ideology rule over him if he sees a better solution. The opposite end of that stick is he is looking a lot more like a populist than pragmatist in these elections

I could easily see another interview where trump explains he didn't know dukes past before making the pick but he is now evaluating him by the day and will keep him until he sees something wrong going forward

You cannot really use Newt's past as an elected official to judge him now. Just look at his 2012 run. He just moves farther right as the party does.

I do not even know if he has any real positions anymore.

I hope it's Gingrich based on the names mentioned. With the exception of Christy, Gingrich is the most well known in the group. You need name recognition to get people excited. The other candidates are 'who is this person'???

Chris Christy is a Trump type person so he doesn't add any real value to a Trump ticket as VP.

It's weird cause pence didn't run himself at a certain point cause of some thing with his administration he was getting bashed for yet he now somehow is going to be the vp. Shows the limited options trump really had. Most people probably didn't even want considered
