International Trump/Putin Summit

meh, way too much hysteria imo.

I mean what exactly happened? Did he sell out country or ressources to Russia? Is USA in danger now?
Not even a deal has been made.
Agreeing to allow a foreign government, which our own government knows interfered in our presidential election, to then be involved in the investigation of said interference, is either treasonous, or a sign of extreme idiocy and naivete. Either way, anyone who would agree to that is unfit for office and anyone with integrity would acknowledge that.

But they would and have privately pressed them about different subjects and, hey, mentioned the whole "human rights" thing
Which Trump claims he did. He said he asked about it and Putin denied it. There's not much more he can do, man to man.

Like I said, people seem to be mad that Trump didn't publicly berate Putin at a press conference. Seems like a BS expectation to me, one that people knew he wouldn't be able to live up to.

He didn't "allow" that.

but how did he throw the country under the bus exactly? what negative consequences do you expect specifically, since not even a deal has been made?
They just talked with each other.

please help me to understand your sorrows..
Thanks but no thanks for the concern trolling.

"Trump claims"
That's worth a three dollar bill.

He's so incredibly dishonest I wouldn't believe him if he said the Sun rises in the East or he'll show his taxes

Trump will be criticised from the left MSM no matter what. If he goes in and tries to start a war race against Putin, the media would paint him as a danger to the entire world, as a crazy war hawk.

the MSM and lefties prefer to protect foreign leaders like Merkel, instead of helping their own president to make a better deal. They were loyal to Merkel, instead of being loyal to their own president.

if we start to use the term treason softly, then I would consider this as treason too.

I still cant believe he thinks Russia being involved in the investigation on russia seems like good idea. Like wtf is he thinking

We did not need him to suplex Putin off the stage. Our national intel director just said, “We have been clear in our assessments of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and their ongoing, pervasive efforts to undermine our democracy."

Trump then said “I have President Putin — he just said it’s not Russia. I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

But, oh my. What unreasonable expectations we put on Trump! What else could he be expected to do except acquiesce to Putin's Truth???

"Hey, FUCKO, quit messing with our elections!" could have been said privately.

Maybe it was.

What, so we can just offer our opinions as fact now? OK, I believe that actually Trump called him on it and reversed Putins judo throw. Much to Putin's chagrin he was forced to admit all of Russia's covert ops around the world but Trump, being the pinnacle of humility that he is, chose to take the high road in the press conference.

Is my work of fiction about their discussion behind the scenes any more absurd than yours? Should I have added more graphic gay imagery to get you guys to read it?

How is publicly professing to believe Putin while throwing his own intel community under the bus the "high road?"
