So I think we all heard Trump's idiotic statement that he was a great relationship with Kim Jong Un...

https://www.wsj.com/amp/articles/tr...-journal-1515715481?__twitter_impression=true

Mr. Trump: With that being said, President Xi has been extremely generous with what he’s said, I like him a lot. I have a great relationship with him, as you know I have a great relationship with Prime Minister Abe of Japan and I probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un of North Korea.

I have relationships with people, I think you people are surprised.

WSJ: Just to be clear, you haven’t spoken to the North Korean leader, I mean when you say a relationship with Korea—

Mr. Trump: I don’t want to comment on it—I don’t want to comment, I’m not saying I have or I haven’t. But I just don’t—

WSJ: Some people would see your tweets, which are sometimes combative towards Kim Jong Un...

Mr. Trump: Sure, you see that a lot with me and then all of a sudden somebody’s my best friend. I could give you 20 examples. You give me 30. I’m a very flexible person.

So the White House claimed that the WSJ lied intentionally and was fake news.

Trump tweeted this:

Huckabee-Sanders tweeted this picture:

The WSJ stood by their interview and released crystal-clear audio of the interview:

And the White House, who secretly recorded the interview so they would no longer be victims of the lying media, released muffled audio of the conversation (because it was secretly recorded by idiots) and claimed Trump said something less stupid:

They're stepping it up. Now the only audio people can trust is the audio provided by the White House. Media discrediting intensifies.

LOL did you fucking listen to the audio? The WSJ he say's "i'd probably have a good relationship"
I get that the sub titles did not say it, but it is what is on the audio.

Trump says he has great relationship with dudes.
Then says i'd PROBABLY have a great relationship with lil rocket man
See how he also added PROBABLY to korean dude?? He would not say I probably....only I'd probably makes sense.

It was I'd and not I, but they are very similar. Now, I did clean out my ear wax today so maybe that is your issue.

You let your butthurt cloud your judgement.

They're stepping it up. Now the only audio people can trust is the audio provided by the White House. Media discrediting intensifies.

Same question to you, did you actually listen to it???

Trump you has you chasing your tail from the minute you wake up and post about him until the minute you fall asleep at your keyboard. Please get a grip..

We get it Trump is a fucking moron. Let's move on.
This is much more than that. It's the furtherance of the very dangerous narrative that only Dear Leader has the truth. Discrediting, and eventually moving to silence the media is authoritarianism 101. Do you even despot, bro?

I listened twice and can honestly hear it either way

That was my take, even the audio released by the WSJ it's hard to hear what he's saying. But to call out the Wall Street Journal for "fake news" over it is a gross over-reaction.

do you HONESTLY believe Trump will take over america and turn it into some kind of V for Vendetta country?
People said this same shit about Bush and Obama, probably all the other Presidents before them, but I was too young to follow this kind of thing then. They will say it about the next guy and the next gal etc forever.

He has an unhealthy obsession and needs to seek some help at this point.

He absolutely says, "And I probably...", not, "And I'd probably...".

Dude, clean out your ears again. "I'd" as clearly as day.

I have a great relationship

I have a great relationship

I have a great relationship

I'd probably have a great relationship

I probably have a great relationship <-- makes no sense and does not match what is commonly said. Do you really think he would say I probably to this? He would say I have or do not have.
Now, would is when you get into probably.

He absolutely says, "And I probably...", not, "And I'd probably...".

And you are absolutely fucking wrong. You want it to be one thing so it is. I could give a fuck either way and hear it correctly.

Did I say that? I said it's concerning because it's authoritarian behavior. He has been held in check so far, but this type of posturing is still quite worrying.

This guarantees that there is at least 1 person, high-level, in the White House that knows exactly what the fuck they're doing.

Wonder if this was Chief of Staff. There's a few possibilities. Horrifically genius.

Clear as day.

I don't think the audio is clear, personally, but I find it hilarious your using perfect-grammar as a defense for a guy who regularly speaks like this: "And you know if you remember the first quarter was a very low GDP, when Obama’s last quarter."

I'd like to point out the White House isn't disputing that doozy at all. "It doesn't make sense grammatically" doesn't mean he didn't say it.

And I probably...

Clear as day.

Yeah, that's undeniable. I'm not sure how people are listening to the WSJ audio and saying he said "I'd", theres no plausible inflection you could use that adds a d on the end of that.

It's "I'd". Even if he doesn't stick the landing on the "d", it only makes sense that he said "I'd", given how he was speaking about the relationships he has with other leaders.

"I have..."

"I have..."

"I probably have..."?

No, he said "I'd".

He lingers on the D in and, and they're moving the sound forward to justify believing the President is right.
