This is an investigation, not a jury. The political leanings of the investigators are irrelevant. They have much more to lose by letting their bias influence the examination of the facts. I think Trump constantly saying that the the FBI and Justice Department are in shambles and destroying their credibility is the biggest problem. He seems to be very “pro-cop” until they are invesitigating him. In the mean time he is portraying the FBI as a corrupt organization that should not be trusted. I can’t find the article now, but read recently that here in Atlanta a defense attorney used a number of Trumps tweets criticizing the the FBI in an opening argument in a Federal white collar fraud case to set the tone that anything the FBI says or offers should be disbelieved unless their is other corroboration.
