Several of the democrats that are now opposing a wall are on record saying they supported a physical barrier on the border, and explaining why it was needed in the past. They have basically admitted they just don't want to help Trump on anything that he could use in 2020, regardless of what the people want, or what the country needs. They are only interested in personal power. Trump should not give them an inch under any circumstance. I would like to see much of the government shutdown permanently.
