in terms of amassing the press, there's really no need to. the ideologically favorable press he'd receive from the various hosts at Fox, Mr. Limbaugh, Ms. Coulter, Townhall.com, etc, are already assembled. they are, as they say, putting in the time, and have been.

in terms of border security people, the two highest folks in that category are John Kelly (former Dir of Homeland Sec) and Kirstjen Nielsen, who currently holds the post. unfortunately, neither has a particularly high opinion of the POTUS, so they haven't been the greatest of allies;

Re-read the post you responded to. It referred to the press treatment of Reagan, HW Bush, W Bush, Gore, and HRC— not just Reagan. You responded to this post with the simple time reference “then.”

Now, you claim that your intent and meaning is “obvious” and you “don’t have to spell it out.”

newspapers - Wall Street Journal

cable news - Fox

radio - Limbaugh

Republicans are really in a difficult position, and many of them have been expressing themselves for the last two years over the...umm...unusual nature of the Trump Presidency.

Goldberg, Kristol, Brooks, Krauthammer(rip), Will, (Susan) Wright....these folks, and a host of others, are very heavy hitters in the rightwing media.

and they are not very happy with Mr. Trump.

its his core group, though. that 30-40% that stuck with him through thick and thin in the primaries. to them, yes, you're right. anyone who is critical of Mr. Trump is a piece of dog feces, no argument from me.

Press has become a propaganda channel depending on what interests are at stake. It was never "free press" being owned by billionaires with varying agendas, and it has never been less so than today.
The sooner more people recognize that, the more legitimate they will be forced to become. Right now media is an embarrassment and a transparent embarrassment at that.
