Trump lawyer took 1.2 million from Pharma for white house access

He can't be dumb enough to have framed his offer as access.

He most likely poised his consultation as access to the insight he can gain through working with the president.

I'm not sure the latter is illegal, but neither pass the smell test.

I only say this as your thread title draws an unproven conclusion
 
Well, let's see how much they were paying for Oval Office access under Obama first.

Sounds like President Trump's lawyer is quite the entrepreneur. Hope the drug companies got something out of the big bucks paid him. From the article it sounds like they were not pleased with results.

Was glad to see yesterday President Trump enact new ideas to help lower the high cost of pharmaceuticals. Much more could be done but it is a start.

Last week I saw 60 Minutes ran a segment on the problems high drugs costs are causing for some cities. The segment and article to it can be seen here ~

How are people still using this line? The "they can't be dumb enough" presupposition became ironic about a year ago.

Framing access as access wouldn't make the top 100 "they can't be dumb enough" findings of them actually being dumb enough. Most recently, remember when Trump hired a guy, who last year blabbed to the news about how Trump asked his advice on how to make the Muslim ban a Muslim ban without saying "Muslim ban" and ended up having that cited in a court's nullification, onto his legal team, and who then within his first week blabbed to the news again directly contradicting Trump's claim to having no involvement in the porn star payment?

BRUH, they are that stupid.
 
Pretty scummy. Trump following through on another promise but only half assed....disappointed he didn't mention negotiating medicare
 
Everyone is taking money from big pharma. Trump is hardly the pioneer here. Still, screw big pharma.
 
There is going to be a point where people will just except it. Part of doing business for the oligarchs an Washington royalty. Is this not where we are heading two classes one for the rich an none for the poor.
