Trump: Government will not reopen until we have a wall, a fence, whatever they want to call it

So 20 million people flooding into our country with no intention of becoming Americans, and just turning there ghettos into small versions of the shit holes they came from is somehow furthering Americas power and greatness?

What are you talking about? The post you quoted, it was blatantly sarcastic. No, illegal immigration isn't an area I'd consider fundamental to America's greatness. I'm not an open borders or #AbolishICE activist, I'm a STEM student that contributes what I can to promote it (along with Made In USA industrial production) through various advocacy organizations and institutes.

Say what you want, but I notice that when Trump sent his sad Christmas Eve tweet, that the part the media left out, was that he was still at work, trying to make a deal, while everyone else took their ball and went home.

Looks bad on Democrats when the 1/3rd of the year they work, is too much.
Lol at hard at work. He's spent a third of his presidency in his country clubs sleeping and golfing

Dude, many Dems have called for open boarders, and gun bans.

You maybe able to convince me they are just playing to the room when they do this, but let's stop pretending that politicians with a D next to their name aren't calling for these things.

Ezra's face though. "Excuse Me!" <45>

That was good. Every right winger should watch that and tell me again how Bernie is something they should fear.

Ol bern says anything like that in front of the Dems and he’s going to be reluctantly backing another candidate at the DNC again

Good. We voted for Trump to be President to build a wall. The minority party is blocking the wall. President Trump doesn't have to turn back on the government money spigot until the wall is taken care of.

If the Democrats want the shutdown to end, they need only fund the wall.

Take it back to '88.

In the debate I think he should just quote that interview word for word, and ignore the questions being asked. Hopefully it would force everyone to go watch that interview and see that Bernie has been saying the same thing for 30 years.

With a voting record that backs it up, for the most part.

It's not 20, it's 10.7, at least in 2016, Obama's last year in office. And most new arrivals in 2016 overstayed visas rather than jump a border.

And it was 12.2 in 2007, down 1.5m through 2016.

So no, not a crises.

Bold

That's a funny way to put it.

Democrats currently hold a minority in the House, Senate, and Presidency of our government. Even after January the Democrats will still be an overall minority in government.

I find it quite interesting that a commonly used political term seemingly took your mind to a very different place immediately.

That was good. Every right winger should watch that and tell me again how Bernie is something they should fear.

He was shown a weakness to the pressure imposed upon him, by the far-left types, and has occasionally caved in to their demands.

He was quickly called out for his statements by far-left media outlets:

https://newrepublic.com/article/149378/bernie-sanders-not-left

Some rightfully speculate that his time might be "past" because of his relatively conservative views on immigration, and that if he wins, he would have to try appealing to the far-left types by adopting their rhetoric on immigration:

There are plenty of causes to worry about Sanders despite his steady history on immigration. This picture spoke volumes to many, at the time:

It's just one of those issues that you cannot afford to be weak on, because the results are catastrophic. These people are like a pack of wolves, they feast upon weakness. The far-left see Sanders as a person who can be exploited to further their agenda.
