Elections Trump for POTUS mega thread

I watched it.

He talks about helping the American worker by taxing Japanese auto makers.

"If we don't make it, put a tariff on it."

....how do you think Japan gets it's cars to the US? It's because they're already being built here lmao. I live in a red state where our one of our biggest employers is Toyota.

This bum over here talking about how we can help Ford and GM execs, not the American worker like he claims. I mean, unless you think Ford is going to build cars in the US and ship them across the ocean to Japan. Ford and GM don't even build US cars in the US a lot of the time at this point lol.

Also, this guy straight up lied about Japan having tarrifs on Ford vehicles. They don't have tarrifs on vehicles at all. By the way, the last time Ford was selling cars in Japan, they had a factory open there, because duh. As usual shadow, you posted a shit video with some very obvious lies 🤔
What about Germany ? I notice you talked about Japan.

Dude any degradation in mental faculties could easily be explained by the extreme schedule he's been on for the last 6 months. Let me remind you the dude was back on tour the day after almost getting his head shot off. His energy levels have been freakish. I believe he's said he gets 5-6 hours a sleep a day. He'd put most 30 or even 20 year olds to shame.

Id throw him a bone.
The schedule probably plays a role, but it's not normal to have so many brain cramps.

I get that Trump is leading in the polls and appears to be pulling away. I also get that the betting line now has him strongly favored.... but....

Michigan has 53 counties with more than 100% registration.

Michigan is not an isolated case. Pennsylvania has areas in Philadelphia where they have more than 100% voter turn out. That's not an isolated case. Virginia has thousands of people on the voter roll with bad addresses or appear to not be U.S. Citizens. That's not an isolated case. It goes on and on and on. Even if Trump does win, our election process is terrible.

You get in bed with the devils lettuce and sooner or later you’re gonna talk politics on a karate forum

If by step down, you mean thrown out, I agree.
So, if there's a Liberal Party leadership convention before the end of this year will you say Trudeau stepped down or was tossed out?

Aside, Sean Casey, MP for Charlottetown, PEI, has come out publicly calling for it. And not before time, if you ask me.

BMW has a factory in South Carolina. Like literally every other auto maker, they have factories scattered across the world.

They also build shit in Mexico just like Ford and GM

Mercedes has a US factory.

Volkswagen has a plant in Tennessee.
USA don’t have no plants in Japan ? He’s talking exports

Because Ford shut down their plant in Japan after the Japanese people didn't buy their crappy vehicles.

Do you think Ford and GM are going to build cars in the US and ship them to Japan?

They are already making something like 25-30% of their shit in Mexico and shipping it to the US for fucks sake lol.

Your tarrifs expert literally has no clue that Japan does not place tarrifs on Ford vehicles exported to Japan.

Why would Japanese people buy a shitty Ford or GM vehicle that's horrendously overpriced when they make far superior vehicles at similar prices? The problem isn't the tarrifs, the problem is the product itself.

You cannot sanewash his supposedly holding a Q&A but dodging it by holding a Trump dance party instead.

Something isn't right.

How do you suppose the states determine when they've supposedly reached 100%?

Tossed out, but I don't know if it's going help much if they do. The party is trailing by almost 20%. How do you recover from that?

I think it would be similar to what happened in the US w/ Harris stepping in for Biden but here there would be much more time before the election (presumably) to regain lost support. You may or may not remember but I've been saying he should get the fuck outta the way for a long time but I wholeheartedly prefer the Liberals over the Conservatives. I think many many Canadians feel the same way and the party will regain a lot of lost support if he does. Casey said as much today. He's a Liberal MP in a strongly Liberal speaking on behalf of his constituents.

Of course, I could be mistaken and Poilievre may win in a landslide no matter who leads the Liberal Party, but I think a great deal of his support is a kind of complaining from people who normally vote Liberal, similar to the support shown to Trump that evaporated once Harris became the Dem nom.
