This is a bit late, but the whole 'Hannibal Lecter' schtick that Trump has been using is hilariously odd. One has to wonder what the point is and why he keeps bringing it up. I usually feel like I can decode him pretty well, but this one has been a real headscratcher.

It's because he doesn't know the difference between someone seeking asylum (his immigrant issue) and an insane asylum (where they kept Hannibal). He literally thinks it's the same thing so he's hounding on that as if he's making a point. It's because he's a fucking moron and he has moron supporters who just go along, because they don't know any better and think he's sticking it to the libs.

The late great Hannibal Lector folks, he once ate a man’s liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti but you can’t afford that in Joe Biden’s economy so this is something we’re looking at very strongly

Too bad, Trump is obsessed with Kitchen Table issues, such as He is better looking than Kamala(which is weird, what man would think he is better looking than a woman, unless that man secretly wants to be a woman) and he is a bigger draw than MLK. Plus my favorite, Trumps personal Sophie's Choice; Eaten by a shark or boat electrocution.
Those are the things that moderate voters care about.
