So Trump is recommending they destroy an ecosystem to provide more water to the farmers.
If they stop letting the fresh water in the bay, salinity goes up, local fauna can't handle the salnity, and the ecosystem collapses.

California has two problems. Too many people in the cities, and farmers growing crops, like almonds, that require a lot of water.

can you cite how proper water management destroys an ecosystem? What if they make storage facilities, reservoir(s), etc is destroying the ecosystem? CA just has too many special interest groups, which is exactly why they have wasted time and loney trying to do their super train rail that has gone nowhere. Any man made water way for the diverted water flow? Oh no, only to the sea. Boo hoo

as I mentioned in the post about this specific issue, there are these groups trying to shut this down, but can you cite any specific reason why? You can’t, cause there is no reason
