Mike Johnson says 'No Obamacare' if Trump wins
Speaker Mike Johnson said Tuesday that Republicans would embark on a “massive reform” of the Affordable Care Act if former President Donald J. Trump is elected again, putting an unpopular policy position back in the spotlight just days before the election.
“Health care reform’s going to be a big part of the agenda,” Mr. Johnson said, speaking at a campaign stop in Pennsylvania and describing what Republicans would do with their first 100 days in office if they are successful in keeping control of the House.
“No Obamacare?” a voter called out.
“No Obamacare,” Mr. Johnson responded. “The A.C.A. is so deeply ingrained, we need massive reform to make this work, and we’ve got a lot of ideas on how to do that.”
Mr. Johnson added that there was a “docs caucus” made up of Republican physicians who serve in the House who have “a menu of options” they were reviewing, including a sweeping overhaul.
“We want to take a blowtorch to the regulatory state,” Mr. Johnson said. His comments were first reported by NBC News.

much like they tried to do dozens of times during the trump administration to repeal obamacare, it looks like they want to take away your health care and replace it with.......well...nothing. but don't you worry guys, i know its been about 8 years now and they still don't have a health care plan, and they won't release donald trump's non-existant concept of a new health care plan either, but you see people, first and foremost, they just need to get rid of your health care, and maybe one of these years they'll come up with an alternative. just not this year.
because how dare you have access to affordable health care! you should all get sick and go into bankruptcy or die just to own the libs, and if we don't feel like you are suffering enough, we'll take away your social security too! and then we're gonna slap tarriffs on virtually everything, leading to consumer prices on virtually everything you pay for skyrocketing just like all of the economists told you, but hey that's okay too because elon said it's okay and people should have to suffer through it, and learn to appreciate some tough love!
