What's the joke? Im Puerto Rican and I don't get it. Everyone that's Puerto Rican I've shown the clip to doesn't get it either. Were is the joke. Explain to me the context im missing. I heard a white man called my home with my family on it garbage. Were is the punchline?

See the thing you aren't getting, and this guy Tony Hinchcliffe obviously doesn't understand about comedy is: jokes are easy enough to make, you just give a statement an absurd punchline.

But professional comedy is about making jokes that are both funny and have a point.

Claiming people will steal the tools you want to use to lock them out of your country is kinda funny, and he's mocking his own people at the same time, but mostly the point is "fuck off with your wall, we'll shamelessly disappear it - isn't that what you're scared of?".

Calling Puerto Rico an island of garbage as a punchline is a joke in structure I guess, not a very good one, but here's the thing: it doesn't have a point. "Puerto Rico is garbage hahaha", okay, what statement are you making here? What's the point, and where's the comedy?

the irony here is calling other places garbage while doing so in a city where much of the cities land, including some of its priciest neighboorhoods, is literally built on garbage.
