It's a hard toss up right now, not just a statistical one. Kamala losing steam in swing states with Trump picking up slight momentum. Biden had a double digit lead in agg polling, Hilary 6 up, Harris is less than 2 in GE head to head and losing in toss ups.
I genuinely feel the edge goes to Trump based on Michigan and Penn. Dem Brass only have themselves to blame. It wasn't a deep fake conspiracy questioning Bidens ability to be reelected, majority on both sides saw his decline. They purposefully held him off public speaking engagements. They purposefully held the debate earlier knowing he was a liability. He didn't lead in polling since Oct 2023 and the leadership let him stay until the last min.
Now they are stuck with Kamala who had low favorability, who was obliterated in the 2020 primary, who got the VP only due to race and gender. If the dems saw the writing on the wall in Feb or Marxh they could have had a primary or proper convention nomination process. Put a stronger candidate forward and probably easily had a comfortable lead heading into November. Now there's a real chance Donald could win.
