Elections Trump for POTUS mega thread

Are we putting the “Trump the civilian has spoken to Putin no less than 7 times since leaving office” discussion here or should that be another thread?

I thought about just making a catch all, “what did Trump do wrong today” thread similar to @nhbbear ’s cops and robbers threads (because he and I would be great in a buddy cop movie together. He’s the old right wing codger forced to partner up with a new woke rookie from Portland fuckin Oregon. Somehow we overcome our differences and save the day and he’s less bothered that I’m dating his daughter. It practically writes itself.)

The mental gymnastics you guys go through for Trump is impressive. It is actually a feat to see.

60 minutes already gave you the excuse that the trump campaign gave which were alternating excuses. Meaning they offered shifting explanations for the reversal. Trump's team expressed concerns over 60 Minutes' practice of live fact-checking. First, it complained that they would fact-check the interview. There was a second excuse from the Trunp camp, when Trump said he needed an apology for his interview in 2020. Which they claim that correspondent Lesley Stahl said in that interview that Hunter Biden’s controversial laptop came from Russia. She never said that." What she said is that they cannot put on things they cannot verify.

If you watched the news clip that was provided, you would have seen that. The reality is that Trump and his campaign are scared and fear Trump being fact checked because he is full of shit and likes to lie. 60 minutes fact checked and challenged Kamala Harris in their interview and it was a tough interview but at least she showed up. Trump is not showing up in this election. He quit the other debates because of fact checking and has now done it again. Which tells us that his campaign for president is not run on actual substance, or better policies, but just lies and insults. He should lose to Kamala simply for being a coward. He is a former sitting president running from fact checking.

For all the stylings of the Bible as a pro-America product, their production in China directly contradicts Trump and his campaign’s rhetoric on China. The former president has proposed levying a 60 percent or more tariff on Chinese goods and promised that his return to office would prompt a “mass exodus” of manufacturing from China to the United States.
