There is a reason battleships stopped being produced after World War 2. They dont do well against a mass of planes, subs and would not fair well against drones either.

While aircraft carriers and destroyers, trawlers, submarines, torpedo boats and minesweepers appeared very cost vs effect usable.

Battleships were easy to spot with improved optics ( if compare with 1914-1917-1919-1921 era ) and also radars and other stuff, plus increased role of aviation.

Also one from most expensive things was large caliber long range arty. Main caliber arty guns etc stuff associatated with this.

These ships won't be built. We don't have the dockyards or workers for the plan. Trump claimed robots are going to build the ships. Even existing within the fan fiction, these wouldn't even start being laid down till 2030 or later. Long after he's gone. 0% chance this plan survives the next administration, like most political military projects.

U.S and U.K had IRL invested more for aircraft carrier and submarines, after this in battleships and we had to see result.
In 1945 th from German fleet still problems were cos submarines and destroyers, topedo boats and minelayers ..... while almost 0 sense for their battleships etc stuff.
