Stipe is one of the hardest hitters in HW history and DC basically said that Rumble hits at least as hard as him, if not harder. It sure looked that way too, as Stipe never hurt DC but Rumble almost slept DC in both fights.

I believe that he didn't KO Arlovski because it was his first time fighting at HW, not long removed from him fighting at 185, and still shattered Arlovski's jaw (something no one else has done). Rumble at his best sleeps Arlovski and Stipe.

DC has said the only reason he got dropped by Rumble's punch was that he was off balanced. He said Rumble never really hurt him in two of their fights.

That doesn't mean Rumble is not the hardest hitter, he might be. But that DC knockdown is really overrated, it didn't land clean.
