No, I BOUGHT through Rakuten.

What happened was I sent an email, which I basically posted about it in the winning thread here, 2 weeks later Mitani responds "Ask winning-USA" that's the short version.

So I email Winning-USA which I did tell you about also in the winning thread and YOU (shihtzu) responded "of course kaz will agree to it and think its a good idea... etc" So he basically said no problem, but I DID Not place an order THROUGH him but he gave me a price quote, that's what I wanted and based on your thread you said Winning-USA was more expensive.

So I went BACK to Rakuten, relayed the email from Kaz; all the info MINUS the price of course to Mitani, and he quoted me the EXACT same price after 1 day of sitting on the email. So then I figured he already has all the info, and I placed the order THROUGH Rakuten.

Does that all make sense in a round about way?

Also, I know Mitani-san doesn't check sherdog but shiet, He shoulda known I was a serious buyer, I didn't ask a million questions, I asked ONE.
At that point he should of realized I wasn't going to waste time or money.

And I know after it was all said and done MFer prolly ordered a kobe beef burger after making $$$$ lol

So Mitani quoted exactly the same price as Kazumichi? Are you sure the price Kazumichi quoted was the full price and not like XXX + 30% for the custom work?

Actually I doubt there is any "own" way. It is not this sort of relationship. There is basically the same way + some limited number of specific situation. Those I am trying to describe and help to solve. It is easier than it seems.

Ah, that's good. I was shocked Mitani had quoted the same as our good old Kazumichi.
Yup, custom 16 oz. from Mitani cost almost equally to Kaz's basic colour 16 oz.

Definitely, Grant is superb! :icon_lol: Elliot would rape you for 500 + shipping and you would wait for 6 months lol :icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:... to get gloves not superior to Reyes :icon_lol:

Also something to add with Mitani is that winning Jpn is not happy with his pricing. They are considering dropping him. Please don't email him and tell him I said this. I don't know if he'd want it known.

Yeah...I would love that...my favorite winning gloves by far are marquez's complete worn ones. Very very attractive to me, more so than the gold. That colour aged like a fine wine (imo).

On the other hand, some colors like Canelo's neon yellow don't look good at all with age lol. Winning had something special going with that gold, unfortunately that is gone now.
 
There's no possible way of getting this color back? I have no problem going with the new gold, I think it looks great, but the aging the original gold takes is the best color I've seen on anything.
 
They probably could do it but at a ridiculous price since they'll feel you're making them go through extra work when they already have "a gold" colour available. Who knows.
 
i wonder if manny goes with the new flatter gold when his training camp begins. Dear Winning: You let go of a good thing....
 
He still owns the same real gold 14oz for sparring that he's had for years. That said, his favorite winning color to train with general is green. Before marquez 4 he was using red to train though. Usually goes with his green 10oz's though. He also has a green sparring set.

I remember the green sparring set, and he used it before the gold set. I haven't seen him hit bags with spar with anything red, but i have seen him hit bags with a white pair of 10s and a blue pair of 10s as well

He's used red. For his last fight, and even before that. I know what I'm talking about. One interesting thing I've noticed is that I've never seen him wear black gloves despite how common a color that is. Not even black reyes in any of his fights. Maybe he has something against it. Emanuel steward did also, and I kind of do as well...something about the color makes me not buy black unless its a serious serious killer deal.
