Sorry to bother you guys, but I just cannot figure out what people mean by 'trolling' Seems alot of posters use in very different ways. I just wanna be the best Sherdog poster I can be. LOL.

And wtf does 'ttt' mean?

stupid posts, empty posts, instigating e-fights, disruptive behaviour to good discussion, etc.

ttt means to the top, it is a term used to 'bump' a thread. It is also considered trolling/empty posting most of the time.
