Trevor Wittman Only Trains Three Fighters

What I noticed about KZ is that he has a high ceiling and is able to pick things up very well. He fucking learned the twister by watching Eddie Bravo videos. I think a pairing with Trevor would have been fantastic. Even their personalities would mesh I think.

Agree 100%. I just hope KZ improves and adapts well with his new training method ala Cejudo and Pitbull style (with Albaraccin) down in Arizona with Team Fight Ready MMA. Not a bad choice of camp either.

Could you imagine the Matt Mitrione that KOed Black Beast in today's HW division.

<DCWhoa>
Mitrione is a good fighter. Never the best, but was a good athlete. Transferred over to fighting pretty well, getting KOd by Nelson and choked out by Schuab was sad, but better off in Bellator.

The thing that I worry is that the dropoff from a fighter's prime can be so steep and often times it's hard to see it coming.

Wish we could see all fighters at their best competing but a huge factor is where they're at in their career.

Fights more often than not tend to favor younger guys and I feel like that's even more true these days with high level training being so readily available for people to start early.

But anyway, I'm ranting. Amen to what you just said brother, amen to that. I swear KZ fans are the nicest fans around, lol.

Yes, I'm a huge KZ fan but I know his clock is ticking. He's 34, and if he loses to Ige, I won't be surprised if he decides to call it a career. He has gone through a lot of surgeries already and fact is his body won't ever be 100%. It just a matter of him fighting the right guys and eliminate the chances of making mistakes and getting caught. If he takes it one fight at a time with laser focus, I think good things will come.

Loved his nickname too, lol.

He was a butcher wasn’t he, which I used to be so I always felt like he was a bit more relatable. Man I need to stop leaving x’s on replies. I was typing a reply out here when a text from a thot came up and I got caught in two minds :oops:
