At first , I was rooting for this guy to lose ( for the over the top hype from your typical mma , flavor of the month fan). I now hope he turns out to be the goods cause the UFC is desperate to get real top talent.

There is a thread about Rory going around. This speaks volumes of the UFC & MMA. Rory has regressed as a fighter since the height of his UFC days but if he should return , hed be favored to beat ( even Lawler AGAIN at this point) everyone outside champ, Colby and WB. Hed be favored to beat Masvidal ( nothing big but favored ) and hed probably land in top 5. Think about that.

I'm a pretty pessimistic fan, mostly when it comes to my favourites. I was breaking a sweat before GSP/Hardy for example. I tend to expect to the worst... So I've been stopping myself from saying this... but damn, this Canada team may walk over everybody.
