McGregor's wit is overrated, when he gets lobbed trash talk from someone who isn't intimidated by him all he has in response is expletives (or silence). And if you don't think that McGregor doesn't pre-script any of his trash talk, then I have a bridge to sell you.



And a lot of Sonnen's trash talk is spontaneous:

Mcgregor’s trash talk is more impactful.

Big fan of Chael Sonnen, but the guy is basically a pro wrestler at this point, saying stuff that even he himself doesn’t believe in. I don’t think his opponents even takes his trash talk seriously anymore cause they know he’s just doing a gimmick.
