We know this has been coming for quite some time and there's no way around it, the UFC has to address this at some point. I understand it's a very hostile discussion, many public figures are strongly against Transgenders being able to fight in the UFC.
Ronda in 2014:
"In Fallon Fox's case, I think that she has an unfair advantage," Rousey said in the video interview. "It's outside of her control, but it's unfortunately her scenario. It's unfortunate, especially for her competition as well."
We have to be very mindful and careful when discussing this topic, because there's a lot of prejiduce, racism and general hate against not only the Transgender community, but the LGBT community as a whole.. I mean, they're clearly one of the most vulnerable minorities in the world, if last months events in Orlando had anything to say about it... No mindfulness must be cautioned here...
I think Transgenders should be allowed to compete in the UFC. Disregarding the fact that it is clearly minority discrimination... The science seems to add up.. The biological sex "advantage" can be negated with Transgender surgery... Fallon Fox is proof of this. She has lost a fight already.
What do you think? This isn't about clear distinct rights and wrongs. Society has move past that, progressed, science allows us to look under the microscope, and make the distinction based on the scientific evidence. This isn't about morals or ethics, it's simply about the facts.
