We know this has been coming for quite some time and there's no way around it, the UFC has to address this at some point. I understand it's a very hostile discussion, many public figures are strongly against Transgenders being able to fight in the UFC.

Ronda in 2014:
"In Fallon Fox's case, I think that she has an unfair advantage," Rousey said in the video interview. "It's outside of her control, but it's unfortunately her scenario. It's unfortunate, especially for her competition as well."

We have to be very mindful and careful when discussing this topic, because there's a lot of prejiduce, racism and general hate against not only the Transgender community, but the LGBT community as a whole.. I mean, they're clearly one of the most vulnerable minorities in the world, if last months events in Orlando had anything to say about it... No mindfulness must be cautioned here...

I think Transgenders should be allowed to compete in the UFC. Disregarding the fact that it is clearly minority discrimination... The science seems to add up.. The biological sex "advantage" can be negated with Transgender surgery... Fallon Fox is proof of this. She has lost a fight already.

What do you think? This isn't about clear distinct rights and wrongs. Society has move past that, progressed, science allows us to look under the microscope, and make the distinction based on the scientific evidence. This isn't about morals or ethics, it's simply about the facts.

Yes and men should be able to smash all the womens olympics records too.

Like in the cases of Caster Semanya and Markus Rehm, this is a topic I would like to discuss once it becomes relevant. So far, we really only have had the FF case and that was ended in the ring.

Perfect time for Bones Jones to find Gay Jesus and play the oppressed trans angle.

If they get the chop then sure.

To be fair if you look through those record holders, they're not that legit anyway. I wouldn't be shocked if Flo Jo had a penis.

they would have to be in their own division, as it would be unfair to have them fight men or women.

M'en and women should compete against each other in all sports including the UFC. Equality in everything. Anything less is propagating this culture of toxic masculinity. After all they are allowed in military combat arms now. Sports should be easy in comparison.

EQUALITY!

Agreed! Would love to see Rumble Johnson vs Ronda Rousey.

I have no interest in watching men and women fight each other.

If anything Fallon Fox showed why we shouldn't allow this, he was able to win multiple fights in WMMA with very little skill because he had an unfair advantage.

This would be the death of female athletes lol.

Yeah it ended when that bastard broke a girls orbital bone...

Tamikka Brents quote after being TKO'd by Fallon Fox

http://www.cagepotato.com/after-bei...s-transgender-fighters-in-mma-just-isnt-fair/

I’ve fought a lot of women and have never felt the strength that I felt in a fight as I did that night. I can’t answer whether it’s because she was born a man or not because I’m not a doctor. I can only say, I’ve never felt so overpowered ever in my life and I am an abnormally strong female in my own right,” she stated. “Her grip was different, I could usually move around in the clinch against other females but couldn’t move at all in Fox’s clinch…

Todays wold is so fucked up, I bet Brock could claim he was trans and try to fight a girl.

If their condition is disclosed and the opponent and her handlers decide to take the fight anyway, then I say go for it. I probably won't watch it, though.

Nah, fighting should be discriminatory for the sake of protecting the fighters. We already discriminate in that we don't allow women to fight men, and fights are sanctioned according to weight classes (Brock Lesnar can't fight Mighty Mouse). It's done to protect the health of the fighters.

Discrimination is a dirty word but there are times it is appropriate.

A woman can't compete with someone who was born a man. The surgeries aren't relevant, the skeletal structure and amount of muscle mass is completely different. Facts of biology trumps trying to make people feel included. At the highest levels of various sports, all it takes is a minuscule advantage, a millisecond, to decide between a winner and a loser. I have 0 interest in watching trannies steal away women's medals in sports, that's unacceptable.

Transgenders only represent 0.3% of the population, if they want to transition that's fine, but if there was any logic in society they should be barred from competing as their new sex. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too.

I wouldn't have a problem if a trans guy wanted to fight professionally. That's different. But most trans women, even when they are on hormones for years, are bigger than your average woman. I'm not necessarily thinking about height, their proportions are much bigger. Hands for example. I can only assume that would be a problem. Honestly, how many trans women would like to be a fighter? I doubt this is a thing.

Nailed it. Furthermore, combat sports have the highest stakes. Losing (and even winning) often means brain trauma, broken bones and even damage to other organs. If our society is going to allow blood sports to continue to thrive we have to take measures to protect the athletes, sometimes from themselves.

Who really wants this freakshow to happen? I'm not refering to the trans as freaks, but the act of watching some dude pummel females into submission. That would be a shitty sight to see all the women get merked but some dudes in pigtails and shit. Hyperbole and all, but still.
