The issue is just given huge attention by the right because it's a situation where they can frame transpeople as aggressors and attack them. If they win ONE championship, or get ONE scholarship over a biological female, it's one too many. It's batshit nonsense, that nobody should be supporting in any manner whatsoever. If an adult is able identify as a child, and win MVP at the "Little League World Series", I'm not gonna be all "It's okay, because it's not prominent in all little leagues."
