I find the right is overly concerned with trans in women's sports. For some it's almost a singular voting issue.

With that said, I don't agree transgendered (m2f) should compete in women's sports. It seems like they have an unfair advantage. But I haven't looked into it too much. Maybe it's possible that testosterone blockers negate muscular development and maintenance and gives an equal playing field, and the media only reports trans victories which creates an impression of unfair advantage. So I have to be mindful of that. But with what I know so far (which is purely speculative) it's not an even playing field.

I personally know three or four trans-women, and one trans-man, and none of them could run around the block or do pushups. Their lives are conducive to regular athletic competition. Chronically online sherdoggers probably know 100% of successful transgendered athletes by name.

I have plenty of left leaning thoughts but I will never understand why the extreme left doesn't accept that a male to female transexual will never be a real woman.

If you want to compete as a man to female trans, compete in the male division.

Tbf, I don't know any liberals that think Trans people should be competing against women in sports.

Trans people should just have a trans division in sports if they want to go that route. And just like women's sports, not a single fuck will be given about their division/sport.

this self proclaimed "tranny freak", and the competition they are competing in, only serve as fodder for the right.

this isn't endorsed by any international body, and this person isn't eligible to compete in most places in the women's category. but again, it is being reported all over right wing media. it's an easy mark. and they should know better.
 
The Canadian Powerlifting Union is a federally registered non-profit organization. It was formed in 1982, as the Canadian affiliate of the International Powerlifting Federation, to oversee and regulate all IPF style powerlifting in Canada.

I am still waiting for the female to male trans person to enter into men’s sports. It’s wrong that they’re not allowed to do so….wait, they are allowed? And you say they don’t because they would get destroyed in any sport ever created? Odd

again, this is an extreme minority in sports. most sports do not operate this way, and even powerlifting doesn't operate this way in most places. but it will be a lightning rod for conservative outlets.
 
It looks like the record was about a 275lb bench right? If that's the case then any sherdoggie should be able to get up there and take the record back.
