So this dude just broke some Canadian lift records and literally beat out the 2nd place finisher in a recent tourney by over 200 kilos. That's insane.

This is of course getting backlash by many online, but I feel as though not enough female powerlifters are actually taking a hard stance on this and speaking their mind. Do they feel as though they will get stigmatized by our rainbow coalition of a government? Perhaps. Maybe they just don't want to be in the center of back and forths between the two sides.

Regardless, the fact is that this should simply NOT be allowed on any level, competitive or otherwise. Some of these Trans athletes seem to be fully aware of their advantages as well and don't really give a fuck. I mean, why should they?

Every lift should include a few additional inches...I mean ounces for his...well...you know.

Seriously, who cares? You guys find the most random shit to complain about. You never even heard of women's powerlifting before this, and now it's just an excuse to hate trans people. Why the fuck are you so obsessed with this?

(Did I do it right LMAO?)

Think people are over it. Very few are defending this anymore.

So brave...

A while back, a male Canadian weightlifter made fun of the whole thing, by identifying as a female and smashing this dudechick's record. It obviously had little effect on the insanity of all this. The oh' so respected weightlifting organizations of Canada, probably just didn't count his female world record stats, because he was a male...

Fuckin' bigots.

Only liberals support this thing and it's because they are misogynistic trash.

all i know about powerlifting is the urban legend, where sometimes when powerlifters are lifting something very heavy, a little more comes out of them than just a loud groan. i guess you could call them the pioneers of the pink sock.

I'm struggling to muster enough of a shit to get offended on behalf of a group who were the most vocal to support all of this.

Not all women. Clearly, the two he beat out were cool with him. There are many out there who were firmly against this from day 1 however.
