Me, my brother and a friend are planning a trip to Thailand in September. We've all trained Thai since we were young lads and just want to go over there and sharpen up and maybe have a fight.

We can only go for a week unfortunately but I wondered if anyone could give recommendations and advice on where to go and what gym is good value for money with quality training. We we're thinking 13 coins might be a good option? Thanks.

Where in Thailand do you want to go, its a big country.

I'd say a week isn't enough time to sharpen your skills and have a fight. I recommend staying at least 3 weeks!

I would say 1 week is not long enough to take a fight to be honest, of course that depends on how hard you are training at home/where you fight in Thailand (some stadiums have lower quality of competition and you could still go in there and get a win but then your just going there to take an easy fight).

But if you are going there solely to sharpen your skills for a week I would do 1 on 1 private lessons in addition to your standard training (that ups the cost of training of course though).

I had a wonderful experience at 13 Coins, its near the airport so it would definitely be a good option if your only staying a week.

Yeah a week ain't gonna cut it.

If that's all the time off you can have, then concentrate more of privates with a good trainer
