With Brock Lesnar's return against Mark Hunt at UFC 200, his first eight fights is one of the hardest for a MMA rookie to compete with: Mir (2x), Couture, Carwin, Cain and Overreem. What other fighters in MMA history had the hardest schedule of fights in there first 10 fights.

I'm confident there are other fighters in MMA history who threw themselves to the wolves to test themselves against the very best in MMA.

His opponent.

Maawk. Maawk Hawwwnt.

dan henderson fought anderson and fedor within 10 fights of each other so that's my vote, plus the remainder before or after depending which was more difficult

Fitting that both Hunt/Lesnar fight as both fought elite fighters from the get go Hunt fought the likes of Wanderlei, Cro Cop, Fedor, Barnett and Overeem in his first 10 fights. Hunt has the most decieving MMA record due to the high quality of competition he fought from the get go, if Hunt fought in the regional MMA scene instead of PRIDE/UFC easily caught up rack a undefeated streak back then and now.

Rampage had a tough rookie campaign.

Gawd, Pride threw Hunt to the wolves. But remember he was the K-1 World GP champion not far before that.

Are we talking rookie campaigns here? If not, Rampage had a crazy stretch with Igor, Saku, Wand 2x, Arona, Liddell, Busta, Shogun, and Ninja.

Not to mention another stretch with Liddell, Griffen, Hendo, Machida, Wand, Lindland, Evens, Jones, Hamil, Bader.

Rookie campaigns, first ten fights in MMA career from any era in MMA history.

Cain, Jones and Weidman are up there for strong rookie schedules.

BJ has one of the strongest. In his first ten fights he fought Din Thomas, Caol Uno 2x, Pulver, Serra, Gomi, Hughes and Ludwig.

Hunt.

Weidman fought Anderson, U. Hall, Maia, Munoz and Sakra in his first ten.

Machida fought Bonnar, R. Franklin and Penn in his. Vitor fought Couture, Wand, Saku and Yvel.

joe Soto went from fighting on Fight pass prelims to debuting on a main event for a title shot vs TJ dillashaw with less than 24 hours notice.

In his first ten fights, Kaz fought Rogerio twice, Daniel Gracie, Bustamante, Hendo, Wanderlei, Kevin Randleman and Stefan Leko.

And in fights 11-14, he fought Yuki Kondo, Josh Barnett, Cyborg and Igor.

Not close to being anywhere near the best fighter, but an absolute underated warrior.

GSP went through a murderous stretch for a while. Frankie Edgar has fought a ton of bad ass dudes too. Benson Henderson went through a damn good trio of fighters for a ten fight stretch. Nate DIaz as well. Look at all the guys that Condit and Hendricks have fought in their last 10

Forgot who but someones first two were either Fedor and lil nog or Fedor and Arona.
