I absolutely loved Age of Empires series and this game sort of reminds me of Age of Mythologies on roids. Would this be a correct assesment? If so I'm buy this!
If Angry Joe says it's good then that's good news. His review for Total War: Rome 2 is priceless. It's worth watching if you want to see him review a disappointing game.apparently its REALLY good according to people who already have it, and angry joe said it was good.
I am. The actual battles are epic and they nailed the warhammer feel in it. I am disappointed with the overall campaign though, at least as Vampire Counts. It doesn't seem particularly well planned out. The diplomacy is also fucked, which is to be expected. Oh well, in a week or two modders will have it fixed.Anyone playing this?
I just started the campaign. I'm enjoying it so far.

The epic like for his sword and armor? I was until it put the next point in the quest about a thousand miles away. For anyone playing though, you definitely need the mod that lets you take over any races settlements. I liked the idea at first, but in practice it pigeon holes you something fierce as Vampires. Are you doing the epic quests along with the Campaign, I feel it added some depth as Mannfred, however as the Necromancer he didn't have as much as a place. I would agree it would be nice if it had a little more story. I also heard some of the map will be expanded upon when they release the other races (rumored as elves, skaven, and some others), would be fun to play skaven.
I'm playing it and enjoying it. It's been a while since I've played a RTS game so I'm learning everything from the beginning. The Warhammer setting is really cool, although I wish I could zoom in and enjoy the action but I have to constantly be managing my troops and I don't think the combat is visceral enough.
Probably just the internet. A lot of the lore for this game comes from some online campaigns they ran, Storm of Chaos and End times. The lore was always published in the rule books, so yeah the internet would be the placeThe mod for occupying every settlement and the camera zoom in is nice. I'm sure more mods will keep coming out. I wonder if they will make a 40k mod or if it's possible.
I'm new to the whole lore part aside from Dawn of War back in the days. I'd really like to learn more about the universe, but not sure where to start and have been too lazy to read the books lol.
