Quickly the Rules
- MAXIMUM age 27 - This rules out Emil Meek, Gregor Gillespie etc
- MAXIMUM UFC FIGHTS 3 - This rules out Mike Perry etc

--------------------------------------------

So a similar thread a year ago (
http://forums.sherdog.com/threads/w...the-best-ufc-career-part-6-the-final.3258963/).

I'll do it a little different this time - basically i have selected in my opinion the top 10 UFC prospects satisfying the below criteria:
1) Maximum 3 UFC fights
2) Maximum 27 years old

So the contenders are:

Curtis Blaydes - 26 years old - 7-1 MMA (2-1 UFC) - Heavyweight
Wins: Adam Milstead (TKO), Cody East (TKO)

Tyson Pedro - 25 years old - 6-0 MMA (2-0 UFC) - Light Heavyweight
Wins: Paul Craig (TKO), Khalil Rountree (Submission)

Mickey Gall - 25 years old - 4-0 MMA (3-0 UFC) - Welterweight
Wins: Sage Northcutt (Submission), CM Punk (Submission), Mike Jackson (Submission)

Emil Meek should be on your list.

Mike Perry, although he already is a contender so probably past the prospect stage

Moreno is absolutely killing it.

Gall is still a wildcard; beating Punk and Northcutt (and getting dropped along the way) doesn't tell me much.

Mairbek Taisumov will be a top 10 lightweight for sure, probably even already after his next fight against Joaquim Silva in Stockholm next month. (5 fight TKO/KO winstreak)

Meek is also amazing, as is David Teymur.

Some good possible future stars on that list. Going with Moreno. The guy has been on a tear since TUF.

Moreno IMO. Not sure he'll ever be elite, but he's a tough cat. He should be around for a long time.

Went with Moreno, the guy's a killer and has the best wins out of anyone listed and it's not even close.

What the hell is Grasso doing on this list? Just for looks I suppose, like her hype in general.

Token woman ;) Wanted to put Cynthia Calvillo on the list, but she was too old at 29. Grasso seems to be the best female fighter to fit the age & less than 3 fights criteria. Only other one is Ketlen Vieira (2-0) but don't really rate her.

I see Moreno fighting for the title within the next year or two.

Thanks for the gender equality in adding Alexa Grasso, but no 'prospect' gets tooled by Herrig and then is considered a prospect

I'll take Brandon Moreno he's impressed me every time out,
Meek should be on the list though that boys a beast

Moreno. He's fighting like a man possessed. I'll put Tyson Pedro behind him. I was very impressed by his win over Paul Craig (lost $$$ on that one).

Why isnt Yair Rodriguez on this list?

He's past prospect status.

Voted for Blaydes. Really like most of the guys on this list though.

Stevie 'Fuckin' Ray

Doo ho choi is still on a trajectory to be a hallmark of the fw division.

Teymur was awesome against Lando and looks like he might make some serious noise at lw as he continues to accumulate experience.

Vieira has looked better than Grasso in the UFC at least, poor Alexa.
