Top fighter outside of the UFC (Any Weight Class)

With what kind of future? For instance I'd think Minakov is still a likely shoe-in for currently best non-ufc heavyweight, but i don't think that's gonna be for much longer, or that the ufc should sign him.

He was a NCAA Div 1 champ and Amosov still beat him, he also beat the new flavour of the month in Buckley. Granted he didn't look great but I can't judge him on one fight. The Ruth win is still a very good win and I think him vs Lima is a very intriguing fight.

Just my personal opinion though. I only really watch Bellator and the occasional ONE event so my knowledge of other orgs besides them is pretty limited.
 
My Avatar.... Navajo Stirling. I called that Adesanya would be a ufc champion years before he even arrived in the UFC and im saying the same about this kid. Hes the next great kickboxer from NZ and will be fighting for the UFCs Light Heavyweight Title in 5 years

The nationality bias definitely is strong when you place Minakov over Pitbull who both mostly proved their worth under the same banner.

Mineev above Freire is also very odd although I agree you listed very solid fighter.

To keep up with the Russian love, I found Magomedkerimov's run in PFL very impressive.
 
Roberti Soldic is a beast but it seems that he is not interested to go to the UFC yet . (the UFC has been trying to sign him for quite some time)
