I have included PED cheats. MW was extremely hard to rank. After Anderson there are about 10 guys who could be considered top 5. And I don't know about FLW and BW was a struggle.

Lots of legends missed out on my list. Cain, Cro Cop, Rampage, Machida, Tito, Hendo, Sakuraba, Igor, Fitch, Khabib, Tony and the list goes on. Very hard to pick just 5.

Hendo for me isn't top 5 in any 1 weight class. He is higher than guys like Chuck, Wanderlei etc on an all time list because he did it in 3 weight classes but his record in each individual weight class isn't better than the guys listed for me.

His anyone anywhere career means he didn't define himself in 1 weight class as he was too busy doing everything .

Cody jumps above TJ when they rematch.
 
Bisping top 5 MW if just by hanging around for so long maybe. But he was never really top 5 until he filled in for Romero and knocked out Rockhold.

Yeah MW is very hard to come up with 5. You have Mousasi, Jacare, Shields, Franklin, Vitor, Bustamante, Rockhokd etc also
 
Way too many GOATs. I can deal with 5 overall but not 5 per weight class. That's just silly.
 
Bisping over Hendo at MW is a disgrace and renders this entire list invalid.

Personally I'd dump JDS and Werdum from HW and add Randy

MW I'd only keep Anderson and add Rich, Saku and Hendo

Cormier should be second in LHW.
I'd put Cain over JDS in HW.
I don't know if it's not a bit too early to put Whittaker and Romero in the MW top 5. There I'm kinda missing Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson. Belfort should also be in either LHW or MW.
Lawler and Shields and WW...I can agree on that, but I could also imagine Maia or Condit in there. Their problem being that they never held an undisputed UFC belt and spent much of their prime either in MW or in WEC. Ben Askren is also a name that comes to mind, but I hate the guy and his style so I'm not mad about him missing here.
Barao should be in the Bantamweight top 5.
As great as he was in both weight classes, I think Faber should only be either in FW or LW. If in featherweight he should definitely be above Faber.
LW definitely missing Khabib. I think I could go even more into detail on the Lightweight top 5 but I won't for now.

But except for Lightweight I 100% agree on the #1 GOAT you've chosen for each division.
 
Props to Wilko for knowing JDS has had a better career than Cain has. Most people don’t realize that.
 
So awesome that you have whittaker that high on the list. If he gets past romero and then beats gastelum/wiedman he has a case for second best.
