1. Joseph Benavidez: UFC record 12-2, 6 straight wins, 5 straight decisions, multiple of those were close and he's finished 4 fights in the UFC.

2. Henry Cejudo: UFC record 6-2, 5 of those wins by decision and 1 by ko.

3. Ray Borg: ufc record 5-3, 3 wins by decision and 2 by submission.

4. Jussier Formiga: 6-4 in the ufc, 2 wins by submission and 4 by decision.

5. Sergio Pettis: UFC record 7-3 with all 7 wins going the distance.

If you add that up it's a grand total of 50 fights in the UFC and only 9 finishes, that's a finish rate of 18%. That's the problem with the flyweight division it's full of bums that can't finish fights and nobody stands out besides DJ.

Edit: 36-9 if you only count their wins, so a finish rate of 25% I guess.

The problem with the 125lb division is simply the lack of competition which is due to the fact that there aren't that many guys that short these days. The reason why featherweight-welterweight are the best divisions is because most guys are 5'8"-6'0" so there's a huge pool of talent there. It's also the reason why Heavyweight doesn't have that much skilled competition either.

Having a 125lber who is a knock-out artist would help a lot in selling the fights yes but it will do nothing to increase the size of the talent pool.

Bantamweight is stacked too tbf. TJ, Cody, Cruz, Rivera, Lineker, Moraes, Assuncao, Dodson, Almeida etc.

Flyweight just doesn't compare.

Horiguchi was top 5 who I would rank above Borg, Formiga and Pettis.

Not really stacked if you have list damn near the whole Top 10 to show how stacked it is. If I were to list all the great fighters in FW, LW and WW I would have to choose so many fighters who are outside the Top 10 or Top 15 even. That's how much talent there is in those divisions. Also BW fighters are generally bigger and closer to the average male height which goes to back to my main point. BW to me is the equivalent of LHW. LHW has a lot more talent than HW for the same reasons.

I agree with you about the FW/LW/WW divisions but BW is way better than LHW imo, LHW is a total wasteland whereas BW is filled with promising contenders.

The top 3 at BW also might possibly be the most talented top 3 of any division in the UFC.

Francis would line them up and KO all of them with a single punch.
