Fan film by me breaking this down into offensive skills (e.g. fast hands, submission skills, throws) as opposed to defensive skills (head movement, takedown defense, positional BJJ (not completely defensive but not as overtly offensive as sub skills)).

Who would you rank as your top 10?

To keep the first post fairly short, my countdown;

10) Demetrious Johnson

9) Rousimar Palhares

8) Wanderlei Silva

7) Shinya Aoki

6) Conor Mcgregor

From a purely offensive point of view

1. Anderson Silva
2. Vitor Belfort
3. Fedor Emilianenko
4. Alistair Overeem
5. Charles Oliveira
6. Frank Mir
7. Luke Rockhold
8. Anthony Pettis
9. Carlos Condit
10. Donald Cerrone

Decent list fair enough, my picks were different obviously but I can see where you are coming from

2 lists without Rumble & Gaethje

Sherdog step up your game!

I tried to pick people with a good variety of offence. Those two are amazing offensive fighters, but I wouldn't call them multi-dimensional threats (though in all fairness Charles Oliveira isn't really either and I picked him).

I'm curious why you have Rockhold on your list? All he has is kicks and great top game (his boxing and takedowns are laughable for an elite fighter).

do you consider hitting on the counter an offensive skill? lol @ Anderson being #1..he is a defensive fighter through and through

I don't like rankings and think they are dumb but when the words "Wrecking ball" Come to mind I think of guys like Kharitonov, wanderlei Silva, Melvin Manhoeff
