I think prime Ferguson would beat Chandler by weathering an early storm and drowning him, styles are thrown out the window when one fighter is shot and the other isn't though.

The only way to prove you are great at consistently picking fights is by betting on them and posting the slips, not mentioning a couple of picks you randomly made.

A lot of people are delusional about their ability to pick fights, it's basically impossible as far as I can tell. I've never seen anyone with proof of consistently picking fights correctly, I'm sure there's someone out there, but if I were you I would give up on the notion you have some magical ability to predict fights.

If you watch Chandler's recent fights, and Tony's recent fights and think they're comparably shot/diminished, then YOU "must new to mma"

A lot of you guys can only think about numbers and wins and losses, just watch them and it's pretty obvious Chandler is a lot closer to his prime than Tony

I consider Michael Chandler to be the most exciting fighter in the division. He is the only guy I want to see fighting everyone in the top rankings and it's not only because he's exciting to watch. I genuinely don't know how the fight would progress if he were to fight Islam, Poirier, Dariush, Conor and last of all, the 37 years old Tony.

Say Conor or Poirier were to fight Islam, many people on this site would predict Islam would dominate either one. Now, if you replace either one with Chandler, now you have a 50/50 fight. I'm not saying Chandler is a better wrestler than Islam but I know Chandler's raw strength will pose a big challenge for Islam. Also, don't forget Chandler's knockout power.

Now, on to my point. I'm aware that Tony is at the tail end of his career but I think this is still a 50/50 fight especially if it is a 5 round fight. Chandler is quite possibly the most explosive and hardest hitting fighter in the lightweight division. But, Tony can still put on relentless pressure for the entire fight with his superior cardio while eating shots with his granite chin. This fight is 50/50

The only intrigue is how much brain damage Tony would receive.

I was saying that, don't get me wrong, I thought it was a close fight and Tony had paths to victory, I just don't think there's a person on planet earth good enough to beat Khabib on their back in MMA. If Khabib is on top of you, you're losing, he's levels and levels above Tony's BJJ. I'm sure there were things Khabib was worried about, but getting subbed was not one of them.

Chandler still looks like himself and he's even more willing to take risk and confident that he used to.
Ferguson lost a lot of his fire. He's not confident and willing to "kill himself" like he used to. (the barboza fight was a beautifull pyrrhic victory for example). He lost 14 rounds in a row T-Wood style.
