Tony is arrogant, and that's the reason for his downfall

I don’t think he’s too much of anything.

His mentality and attitude lead him to one of the longest win streaks in the history of the ufc in an extremely cut throat division. He will have a similar legacy to a guy like DC. He was always incredible but never #1, and he is allowed to be confident when he’s that successful.

I don’t understand why everyone is writing his career off as a failure because it didn’t have a storybook ending, as if anyone in MMA does have a storybook ending.
Ronda's mentality worked for her too... She was an OIympic medalist,

She got women into the UFC, was a dominant champ... broke barriers and broke records.

Still a very arrogant person too, and delusional too.
Just like Tony is proving to be.

There is a fine line between being unorthodox and being out of control.
Tony is far, far at the end of that spectrum.
He's never actually taken the time to improve and it seems like nobody in his team can even point out any flaws and get him to switch some things up.

Let's call a spade a spade - Tony is arrogant. He does what he wants, how he wants and is fully emersed in his own ideology.

From a P's and Q's standpoint, he's been the same exact fighter since TUF. This entire time he's fought the same way and relied on toughness, cardio and volume to get him through his opponents.

Had he seriously wanted to improve, he could've taken the leap to reach out to some boxers, or go to Thailand for a change, etc.

Tony is stuck in his ways and it's a shame because he has the work ethic and mental fortitude to be a dominant champ.
Bro, all you had to do was post the gif of him deadlifting with the hex bar.

9ne of my favorite fighters of all time, but yeah, guy is uncoachable and is probably a nightmare of a freind. Ive had freinds similiar to Tony in the sense that u would rather let them win an argument or give them the easy street route, instead of wasting energy arguing something u are a 100% correct about but the nuts refute it with a passion.

i don't think Tony's arrogant. Delusional with serious mental issues yes, but being arrogant isn't one of them.

His downfall is because he’s not athletically fluid. He’s more hard work than raw talent. Hard work beats talent, until talent puts in hard work.

Tony was never meant to be a champion. I technically have a better chance than he does at getting a strap because of my raw athletic talent, but I don’t feel like it right now.
