After setting the record for 12 consecutive wins in the UFC lightweight division and becoming the first fighter ever to be stripped of an interim title, Tony Ferguson didn’t stop there. He embarked on a new mission: to become the fighter with the most losses without being cut. This weekend, he shattered BJ Penn's record. Talk about making history in both winning and losing!

Tony messed up when he unnecessarily made weight for a fight that fell through. Then he made weight again a week or two later for Justin. We saw what happened in that fight.

The goggins training tore Toney's body up and weakened him even more.

That's also what I keep thinking of, how he drained himself to cut all that weight and then shortly after had to do it all over again and then took massive damage. That was a great recipe for completely ruining whatever he had left at that point.

Even Tony has said in interviews afterwards how stupid that weight cut was and that he sometimes does things to kind of sabotage for himself.

Congratulations on the record el cuckoo.

Jeez. Not a win in 4 years. He lost to literally every top guy of this era except for Khabib. That's crazy.

How did his team allow and help him cut weight just for fun, a week before the fight?

What I want to know is, with this man's behavior outside the cage being very well documented, why would you feel sorry for him? On top of that, only 2 of these many losses were brutal as he's been pretty lucky.
Im not a fan of his but I can still emphathize with him. Its not a black or white thing.

There has to be a ton of regret on how the last 5 years turned out for him.

It will only get worse as well, Tony won't retire anytime soon, he is so stubborn and deluded and paranoid.. I know what he is like. No coach or team to stop him, he has a different coach and team every single fight, no one can stand him for more than a few weeks. He is gonna end up like Bigfoot Silva unless he retires right now, which he won't.

Tony needs saving from himself, or mark my words he will go the way of Bigfoot Silva. We have all seen this same story before in MMA and boxing and it doesn't end well.

This was a critical error that cost him everything. He shouldnt even have taken the Justin fight but he wasnt the champion yet, and he knew the UFC wasnt exactly eager to have a headcase like him with the belt anyway. Tough spot to be in but DAMN that weighing in twice...ugh.

I think the UFC owes him some sort of job outside the ring....and Im sure Dana would offer it. But he is clearly not fit to fight now and should not be licenced anywhere...but sadly money talks and he will.

I think things either way are not going to end well for him. Im hoping Im very wrong.
