Tony Ferguson Will be Khabib's Toughest Fight

dana better not pass up tony for colin.

I could see that greedy fucker doing it

Khabib would flat-out refuse to face Conor.

That shit is well over and done with. Khabib jumped out the cage this time around to right that wrong.

He won’t go back there.

UFC is supposed to be about all the big fights.. Well lets go already.. Book it.

This thread has nothing to do with yesterday’s performance. It has to do with khabibs inevitable showdown with Tony, which you’re shook about
Not a very good liar.

I very much look forward to tony v khabib

The one thing about Tony that most fighters don't have is that he improves with adversity. The more damage he endures the more relentless and resilient he becomes. Any time his opponent lands a big shot or draws blood it brings out the animal in him. Most fighters cave into Khabib's pressure but I think with Tony it will make him better and more dangerous in the later rounds. Either way, it's going to be a war. Both men are as tough as they come and it is very difficult to predict an accurate outcome. Khabib has absolutely dominated his last two opponents on the ground in the same fashion Tony absolutely decimated Cowboy and Pettis on the feet. Tornado meets a hurricane.

Hope it's at least close.

Didn't Kevin "Staph" Lee have full mount on Tony in the very first round of their fight??

Khabib will probably finish Ferguson faster than he did Dustin.

Insecure Jones/Silva fanboy doesn't want Khabib to surpass his idols, another expected shitty thread from GrayArea.

That statement might be true. Most guys when taken down by Khabib don't work; they default to a survival mode. They either try to defend the takedown or they try to stand back up. There isn't going to be a moment of rest with Tony.
Tony does great when he's in danger. I can see him slicing Khabib with elbows while on his back. There won't be the same urgency to get back up as Khabib's other opponents.

Tony has a way of dragging fights into absolute chaos in which he thrives. Whether Khabib can stop him doing that and how he reacts if he does, would be the key.

It's interesting in that they're both guys that it's very hard to find training partners who can emulate the kind of pressure they put on you, Khabib with the grappling and Tony with the relentless forward pressure and continuous violence.

khabib has never been in trouble, meanwhile tony was choked unconscious and in trouble many times... and sure some people are gonna say it was a long time ago when tony was choked to near death, but it was also a long time ago that khabib was never beaten :) khabib mauls tony

Fedor was undefeated for a decade at HW and fought a guy named Fabricio who had a bunch of losses

It's a cage fight my guy. They're two of the best in the world at any weight class. Khabib is the rightful favorite, but you can't discount Tony. He's won 12 straight fights at the deepest division in MMA. Give the guy some credit, yeah?

I don't know about you guys,

but I think cowboy and pettis,

are both better, more dangerous fighters than colin and dustin, and al and barboza.

so I think tony has a good shot.

kabob is a horse of a different color, but so is tony, just in different ways.

khabib has never been in trouble,
wasn't he in the hospital a couple times trying to prepare himself for a fight with tony?

he was in so much trouble he couldn't fight.

I know, I know, tony and kabob are tied at 2-2 for fucking up a good thing.

I just hope the fight comes together this time.

Khabib/Tony on paper is up there as one of the best fights to be made in mma history. The streaks they are on, having been booked many times and not happening.

It has to happen. We need to find out who the best LW really is. After that if you want to try and give Conor a rematch in a big money fight then whatever, as long as we get this fight next.

Like butter sitting outside on a summer day. Everyone is scared to let their hands go because they’re shook of being taken down by khabib.

El cucuy welcomes the grappling. He’ll be throwing that straight left, elbows and kicks all night while sending Imanari rolls and ankle picks

Good luck to khabib trying to push his routine pace for 25 mins against the master of pressure pace. Kebab will break and get TKO’d in the championship rounds.
I liked your post, dont get me wrong. But is this what you WANT to happen, or what you THINK will happen? Be honest if you may :)
My humble 2 cents: In theory, you are right. However, confident or not in his ground game, IMO Tony will be taken down and smashed. Im a fan of both and wouldnt mind a change in seats.
